We are a bulk billing dentist for children and veteran gold card holders. Our bulk billing services cover the following:
- DVA Gold Card holders – Department of Veteran Affairs
- Children aged 0 to 17 are qualified for the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
Bulk billing dental services are only available for certain patients who meet eligibility criteria set by Medicare, State governments, or the Department of Veteran Affairs.
Who is Eligible for Bulk Billing Dental Check-ups?
Under current Medicare requirements, bulk billing dental services are available to:
- Children between 0 and 17 years old who meet the requirements for the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS)
- Veteran Affairs Gold Card holders
We will help determine your eligibility for bulk dental check-ups or service billing.
Is My Child Eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Scheme?
Your child may be eligible if they:
- Are aged 2 to 17 years for at least one day of the calendar year.
- Are eligible for Medicare on the day of service.
- They are part of a family receiving certain Australian government payments.
Medicare assesses eligibility at the beginning of each calendar year and is valid for the entire year. Children who become eligible later will have their eligibility backdated to January 1 of that year.
Are There Any Bulk Billing Dentists for Adults?
Medicare doesn’t provide bulk billing for adults. However, bulk billing dental services are available for Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Gold Card holders. Our practice provides FREE bulk billing services for most clinically required dental services, including general dental services, tooth fillings, and more.
Some adults may be eligible for free dental treatment through a NSW Health Dental Voucher.
